Here, East Riddlesden Hall is seen in the fading light of evening, as long shadows stretch across the foreground and the building seems to settle into the surrounding landscape. Painted in acrylic ink and watercolour, with fineliner ink pen and coloured pencil, the work explores the quieter transition between day and night, when familiar forms begin to take on a different character.
